Double Book Signing - 2 Local Authors affected by homicides in Hood County.

Meet Kelli Martin, native of Hood County and local author of "Homicide in the Hood: Murders that Haunt a Small Town Girl," at Paradise Bistro & Coffee Co. on the historic Granbury Square. One of Kelli's friends was murdered when she was a teenager, and there were other murders, mostly unsolved ones, that had an impact on Kelli growing up here. This book was written in collaboration with victims' families and now all unsolved cases are being worked by law enforcement.


Meet former Granbury resident & author Ericka James. When Ericka was 18 her little sister, Sarah Patterson, 11, and little brother Cody were kidnapped by their mom's ex-boyfriend in April of 1997. Sarah was murdered and Cody survived his injuries. Luckily the murderer was caught, sentenced to death, and executed, but this horrible tragedy shattered this…
